House 6 puts the bedroom on a mezzanine, reached by a staircase from the sitting room below. The ground floor stays open, with a dining table and a sofa under the window.
The blue door and the salvaged panelling are original touches kept from the restoration — the kind of detail you only find in a house that was somebody’s home first.

Porto tourist tax

Children under 13 cannot stay. Minimum age to check in is 18.

We need your estimated arrival time in advance to hand over the keys.
ID and credit card
Every guest shows photo ID at check-in, a Portuguese legal requirement.
Deposit and tourist tax
A refundable security deposit of 200 euros is taken as a pre-authorisation on your credit card on arrival, and released at check-out provided there is no damage to the property.
Since 1 December 2024, Porto charges a tourist tax of 3 euros per person per night for guests over 13, up to a maximum of 21 euros per person per stay. It is collected on arrival and is not included in the rate.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in runs from 15:00 to 00:00, check-out from 08:00 to 11:00. Earlier check-out can be arranged — just let us know.
Reception is open Mon–Fri 14h-19h30 and Sat–Sun 10h-14h. If you arrive outside those hours, contact us in advance and we will arrange the handover.
House rules
No parties. No pets. No smoking inside the houses — there are ashtrays in the garden.
Children under 13 cannot stay: several houses have mezzanines that are unsafe for unsupervised children. Beds cannot be rearranged and extra beds are not available.
Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. After that, 50% of the stay is charged. No-shows are charged in full.
ID and border registration
At check-in, every foreign guest fills in a registration form with name, date of birth, nationality and ID number. Portuguese law requires accommodation providers to record this for all non-Portuguese nationals, so please bring your passport or ID card.
